Reading Rabbits, a special reading programme for local Year 1 children designed to get them off to a flying start with reading  and hooked on books will be launched  in the 1st term of the school year 2010. Sponsored by Rotary Club Margaret River, with the support of the Margaret River Library and the Margaret River BookShop Reading Rabbits will encourage children to read more...

Shire of Augusta Margaret River Librarian, Rachael Drummond has visited schools and introduced the children  to the programme to hand out the Reading Rabbits starter packs. After signing up, every child who borrows and reads 10 books from the Margaret River or Augusta Library will receive a $10 book voucher from the Margaret River BookShop to buyt themselves a book of their choice.
